Our little solar power system here had another makeover this weekend, and has been much improved from where we started last summer.
We found this simple hen house design from WeekendHomestead.net and re-purposed it to replace the little utility cart that was housing our AGM batteries and components for our 400W (soon to be 800W) off-grid system.
We aren’t the best builders (yet), but we were able to construct this little 4 ft x 4 ft hut on a pallet platform in about 5 hours total and under $100.
